Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Big Board Hoops ("we," "us") for use of bigboardhoops.com. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you accept these terms for a coaching program, school or club, you confirm you are authorized to do so.

2. Who can use the site

You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. Each account is for one person.

3. Plans and seats

• Viewer is free: national rankings and player bios.
• Subscriber is $9.99 a month or $89 a year: adds the college hub, transfer portal, Pro Pipeline and the Daily Brief.
• Coach is $497 a year per coaching program and includes 3 staff seats. Extra seats are $99 a year each. Each seat is one person's login and may not be shared or passed around.
• A program may move a seat from one staff member to another by asking us.
• Features in each plan are described on the pricing section of our homepage and may improve over time.

4. Payment and renewal

Access to a paid plan starts once we confirm payment. Monthly plans cover one month at a time; annual plans and Coach licenses cover one year from the start date. We contact you before a plan renews, and you can choose not to renew.

We may change prices for future terms. A price change never applies to a term you have already paid for, and we will tell you before it takes effect.

5. Cancellations and refunds

• Monthly Subscriber: cancel any time. You keep access until the end of the month you paid for. We don't refund partial months.
• Annual Subscriber and Coach: if you cancel within 14 days of the start of a new term, we refund the full amount. After 14 days, you keep access for the rest of the term, and the term is not refunded except where the law requires.
• Extra Coach seats added during a term are billed for that term and follow the same rule.

6. Acceptable use

Your plan is for your own use, or your coaching staff's internal use for a Coach license. You agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, download in bulk, resell or republish our rankings, evaluations or database.
• Share your login or let people outside your plan use it.
• Use the site to contact or recruit prospects in a way that breaks NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, state association or other rules that apply to you.
• Harass anyone, post false information about a player, or try to get around access controls.

7. NCAA and other recruiting rules

Big Board Hoops is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA or any state association. Each program is responsible for its own compliance. We sell to NCAA Division I basketball programs only while our service is approved for the current NCAA cycle.

8. Our content and yours

Rankings, grades and evaluations on Big Board Hoops are editorial opinion. National ranks from other services are shown for comparison and belong to their owners. The site's design, text, data compilation and software belong to Big Board Hoops.

Notes, evaluations and other material you save stay yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to you so we can run the service.

9. Accuracy

We check records against primary sources and correct mistakes when we find them, but recruiting information changes fast and we can't guarantee every entry is complete or current. Use the site as one input, not the only one, for recruiting decisions. To report an error, email hello@bigboardhoops.com.

10. Ending an account

You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after notice where reasonable. If we close a paid account without cause, we refund the unused part of the term.

11. Disclaimers and limits

The site is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, Big Board Hoops is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell members before they take effect. Questions go to hello@bigboardhoops.com.
